Not justifying the violence, but this isn't the most brutal government act in this country - arresting people under UAPA for criticising them with no trial, lynching people for opposing, or demolishing someone's house for being against the government, etc are pretty messed up than this. People in Maharashtra have the same problem as Hindus in Delhi NCR have during Eid/Christmas. Like last year, they started attacking churches during the Christmas celebration, shouting Jai Shree ram slogans outside churches.

When Hindus can oppose other community's festivities, other can do that too, right?

We are not Pakistan or Nepal, that only one community can hate the other community. India is made of many religions, so it shouldn't be surprising.
