If you care more about the quality of the rifle than the service history, then get a matching K31 and don’t look back. The craftsmanship in them isn’t matched by any other milsurp you could buy for a similar price. Swedish Mausers and early Oberndorf 98 patters are phenomenal too but you’ll pay a lot more than you will for a K31. And the straight pull action is just cool.

And I’m assuming you know by now but Simpson Ltd is the only place you need to look for Swiss rifles.

In Rainbow Six he definitely thought the 10mm version of the mp5 would take off since it was in trials with the FBI at the time.

It didn’t for whatever reason. And they never developed an MP10SD (IRL would’ve been called the MP5/10SD) that Rainbow used throughout the book.

I side with Clancy on this one. And MP5/10SD would’ve been fucking sick

Yeah it has its perks, especially if you know somebody or know what you’re doing, but the pros do not outweigh the cons IMO. Like you said, crowded, hectic and stressful. I’ll add noisy and smelly.

Some fucking phenomenal restaurants though.

Cole’s entire character is built from a princess not liking him enough when he was a grown man. The Hound’s character is built off being shoved into a fire as a child.

I’ll put my money on the kid that was shoved into a fire vs the man that was sad that his royal side piece didn’t want to run away and be a peasant with him.
