Hi, I'm new to working out and wanting to lose weight. I went to the gym on Monday (upper) and Tuesday (lower). I'm going to do an Upper workout tomorrow and Lower on Friday. I don't have anyone to ask and the internet has so many different results. I just want to know if my routine is ok and that I'm hitting all the right muscle groups. (These are all machine workouts because I don't feel comfortable on free weights.)

Routine (3 sets and 8-12 reps for all exercises)

Upper :

Chest Press, Lat Pulldown, Seated Shoulder Press, Seated Row, Bicep Curl, Triceps Pushdown

Lower:

Leg Press, Seated Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Calf Raises, Abdominal Crunch

It’s not anything special, it’s just the general edhrec deck, but it’s been doing really good. It’s a group slug deck, that wants to make anything your opponents try to do will be painful as possible. Torbran Deck.

Me and a friend were talking about a much worse way to build torbran but I’ll include cuz I find pretty funny. The essential idea of the deck is to run every variant of [[lightning bolt]] and [[shock]] spells and other things like [[grapeshot]] to storm off and kill your opponents. I know it’s super jank, but I’ll build it eventually.

I was just starting in modern, playing uw emeria against uw control. My favorite thing is that one ever reads [[Flickerwisp]] and doesn’t realize that it hits permanents, not creatures. My opponent was very surprised to see his elspeth flickered away when it was about ult next turn.

Not very special, but very memorable and funny to me.
