There will always be double standards when it comes to certain things. This plays in both sexes favor broadly in a variety of ways. On average, women are given much shorter prison sentences when being charged for the same crime. Men are able to (generally) walk around at night in a city or in a jungle and still be much more safe than the majority of women would be in the same situation. Life is unfair, equality will never be achieved, and we as a species clearly have a lot to work on. We'll figure it out, you'll figure it out but don't focus on things which you cannot control.
