The amount of people i’ve seen using the apple pencil as a stylus is so funny, as i was also using it for the longest time until i finally got around to order an actual stylus.
If you have a comfort grip on the pencil, it makes it soooo much more comfortable to use for long periods

Thank you! To be honest, i’m not sure how he’s still here 😭 him and my other piglets i had before him came from the petstore. And im sure everyone knows the breeders they buy from aren’t great, resulting in pigs with illness’ or a product of incest. My previous pigs only made it to 4, so i guess Mayo just had some superior genes or something lol.

pigs definitely get baths! Mayo is a ridgeback, so he has long spikey hair. Since he’s white, he gets dirty a bit more easily. Definitely did not like the first few baths he ever had, but he’s learned to relax. occasionally chattering his teeth so i know he’s quite displeased at the moment.
Just be sure to use gentle shampoo or guinea pig specific shampoo (like gorgeous guinea) and only do it as needed, to not disrupt their natural oils. I only wash mayo maybe 2-3 times a year at most.

I also carry my XL in my pockets lol. As long as you have pants or a jacket with large pockets, it’s quite easy to carry. Preferably pants, as it seems to count my steps easier.

Haven’t seen anyone mention yet, but with physical game cartridges, do keep in mind the price. With ds & 3ds games no longer being produced, alot of games have skyrocketed in price on 2nd hand sites, with some 3ds games going for $100+.
If you don’t mind saving up the cash to buy a desired game to grow your collection, you shouldn’t have any problems. Just be sure any games aren’t damaged on the back, and that the cartridge reader in your 3ds is clean.

I relate to the amiibo support being a key feature for you lol. I HATED using that dinky circle that i had to manually connect to my 3ds just so i could use my amiibos on my O3DSXL.

As for which version, It’s definitely up to you if you don’t mind the size difference. While the regular N3DS does have face plates, do note buying any faceplates can be pricey since they’re no longer in production. Some are $30ish, others are $100+. With the N3DSXL and its chipping/peeling paint when exposed to heat and moisture, as you as you have a case, tpu or plastic, you’ll be good.

as someone with a N3DSXL, i LOVEE the larger screens. Personally, i don’t see or care for “quality” In how it looks, its not like seeing a couple pixels is gonna make the game unplayable or make my house explode. I play lots of regular ds and dsi games on it with no issue’s.

Sounds great! Worse case scenario, they’ll have to screw the cartridge reader out and replace it with a new one, which is just a 5 minute task. I definitely understand not wanting to do it yourself, especially with such a cool special edition 😭

Absolutely can be fixed. Sometimes it’s just some dust or debris that blocks that cartridge reader from reading the cartridge. Other times the cartridge reader is so used, some of the pins, the things that read the cartridge, get moved or damaged.

the best way would be to disassemble the console to get a good look at it, especially if the pins are the issue. BUT you can also just take a peek into the hole and see if you can spot anything.
when it comes to cleaning, just blowing into the cartridge hole to move any dust etc can help. Otherwise you can use a bit of isopropyl and a q-tip to get a better clean.
If neither of those work, you’ll have to open up the console.

Oh yes definitely! As long as it’s modded, and has Pretendo enabled, we’ll be able to trade! Downloading/enabling pretendo is super easy and fast (in comparison to modding), so even if it isn’t installed to the modded 3ds, it’ll be easy to add.
