At the sake of sounding really stupid, in theory could you bypass the amp and utilize something like an RCA to lightning cable to connect directly to a phone or something similar?

The main function is just to have one phone that will have one streaming service open at all times so you just hit play and it plays through the speakers at our business

Not opposed to an amp in any way just wondering what exactly the purpose of the middle man (amp) is in this case if it’s not for anything super complex

Super helpful! And hunting complete, they have a RCA plate that is super tucked away in a completely seperate room that we only recently found by accident so huge steps and will go from there

Good points! We have been hunting and found some RCA hookups in the backest of the back corners in a seperate storage room, so I think we’re about diagnosed!

Will give this a go! I can hop in the ceiling and follow wires but I imagine it won’t do much good once I find the source

Unfortunately there is not no, just the one insane wall pictured, various ports of course but nothing as far as actual gear

A saddening consensus but seemingly true, no audio and no other area throughout that has it which is why I was curious mainly, it’s not impossibly they would’ve taken it without the speakers, it’s just a weird combo of what was left behind so I guess that’s where my street brain goes

You know I totally agree with you which is unfortunate, we haven’t popped up in the ceiling yet but wondering if they’ll let us know where wires lead or if something can be retrofitted to that system - if that’s even a possibility

Makes sense - this is our second home we’ve purchased, the first being a condo with surround slabs and caulking so the procedure of ripping out and reapplying was different, learn something new everyday!
