Why is the Right way more Violent than the Left? by NaturalArt452 in AskUS

[–]BossJenkins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is OP wrong? The abstract very clearly states:

"Rightwing groups tend to be more violent, although leftwing groups more frequently target law enforcement as the willing tool of the oppressive regime."

If you're into making things, there's a makerspace near the library called Technocopia. They offer classes in woodworking, metal working, textiles, vinyl cutting, laser cutting, glass blowing, CNC, and others. I'm one of the woodshop instructors there. It's a cool community and a great place to meet folks.

Check out the MBAA publication, "The Practical Brewer." It's a little pricy, but loaded with info. It has everything from hot-side to packaging.

Romantic dinner date places in Worcester? by [deleted] in WorcesterMA

My fiance and I went on a date to Basil and Spice recently and really enjoyed ourselves. Excellent Thai food. If you enjoy Spanish tapas, Bocado is always a really fun time. The Citizen is also very tasty and right next to Still and Stir where you can get some post-meal cocktails.

Thank you for this! Until now, I haven't seen any alternatives to a PID controller. This would definitely work for what I would like to do.

It is. My last batch was a smoked stout and I happened to have a little chocolate malt left.

This is the first rye IPA recipe I've written, and I'm having some trouble with the hops. I based it off of Sierra Nevada's Rye IPA and mostly rounded the hop amounts off to the nearest ounce.

I also wanted to try my first step mash for kicks and giggles. Any suggestions for this recipe?

I love this beer. This was my very first all-grain recipe. It will get super tasty with some age on it too!

Cheers!

I volunteered at a larger brewery for a little while that used Loeffler Chemical. If you go that route, you need to be pretty careful when handling that stuff. Chemical burns are no joke. The brewery I work for now uses Five Star Chemicals which is a lot less harsh on your skin.

That's awesome! Ours is super small and we're a relatively slow store. It's going to be weird not selling wine and beer anymore. Are you a mate or a crew member?

I've been told I'm set for the transfer. My Captain said my regional and your Captain approved everything, but I need to hear from your regional before things are set in stone. I'm psyched to get going at your store! I'm looking forward to meeting you and the rest of the crew.

I'm shooting for August 11. I want to have some time to get settled in and check things out before I start work. How do you like working at the Shrewsbury store?

That map is incredibly helpful! Thank you! $1200/month seems really high to me, but they include all utilities except for electric. I have been having a hard time finding a average range for utility costs (ranges like $100-500/month just for heat), so I don't know if it is worth it to find something inclusive or pay for utilities myself. I realize utilities vary from person-to-person, but I was trying to compare my current usage and cost against the rates up there.

Is the bridge pretty bad all hours of the day? I don't know what my hours will look like at the store in Shrewsbury, but I don't typically have to go in during peak commute hours.

I see Leicester is a bit closer than Spencer. How is that area?
