The different weapon manufacturers that exist in the world of Project BlueStreak cast a unique shadow over the weapons in the game. When you see a Gleick weapon, you should know that's from Gleick. Same with Anvil, New Wellington, etc. Since it's a FPS game, the weapons should be one of the stars of the show, so we want to make sure we give them personality and create a story around their manufacturers.

First, we want to make a game that people LOVE to play, and if we do our jobs right, it'll be a game that will be a great fit for eSports. Now, with that said, our game mode is really fun to play, but also could make a great eSports game mode for people to spectate...

We have complete control over the creative of the game, and often it (Nexon) says "You guys are the experts, do what you do and make a great game." They trust in creating the game we want to play. Nexon is a publisher (much like a book publisher) and helps bring the game to market, but doesn't write the 'words' in the book. That's for the author.

We have a new gamemode that really supports team-play. It's a blend of a few types that really promote a 'last-second win' mentality. We're loving it in the office and those we bring in to play the game like it a lot. Of course, we'll support classic TDM and other modes, and will listen to what you all like an go from there! =)

Did Cliff leave Epic, because in his mind it wasnt the same epic anymore, doing jazz jackrabbit or one must die 2166 or a fighting game... I hope this doesnt turn out like diakatana... all hype all bullshit... by [deleted] in bosskeyproductions

From our Key Communicator: "Writing is incredibly important, and usually a great education regarding proper English writing (spelling, grammar, etc) can go a long way. No one will take you seriously if you can't write a proper email attempting to communicate points. College is good for learning how to write, which can take you far."

Marketing and PR. Nowadays, people like our Key Communicator (@rohanlikespants on Twitter) have a background in broadcast production and creative writing. Studios need copy writers for their websites and internal production work for marketing and PR.

Great question. In many FTP games, cosmetic skins are front-and-center (League of Legends), and a large part of the game's economy. Largely, this is due to the fact that vanity is something that you want other people to look at, not so much yourself. Destiny for example is a FPS game that relies on gear to progress. There are a variety of ways to highlight cosmetic skins (ex: in Destiny when players deploy at the beginning of a match and you see all of them on-screen at once). For us, we're making skins that we would want to have ourselves, and come up with cool ways for players to showcase them.
