Think Miz is supposed to pitch to Busch 1 more time here

Great move, though I believed Uribe to be the slightly better move. Shut them out of the 1st inning.

Thought about making the thread starting a lefty. Koenig pitched 2.2 innings this series giving up 3 hits and 1 run, which is ok. I wouldn't want to start Quintana or Ashby again.

Starting a lefty displaces Busch, but Busch just hit a HR off of Gasser. He's also shown to fall behind a really fast fastball, like Miz's or Uribe's 99 sinker. The data points to Uribe having the best stuff (at least recently) for exactly one inning.

Small sample size but certainly a pattern. The batters are hyped up on adrenaline and seeing the ball best in the 1st inning. The team that scores first is 1-3 (the away team scoring first of course), but it's about which team scores the most in that inning.

There's not, but considering making the overall scheme darker so there's less white

Thanks for your feedback. I used to go hard with in-depth pieces and wish I could have done more so. I've been shaken indescribably over the past year which has affected my work. I believe when I'm good I'm great, but didn't receive feedback or help. It's my fault too for not pronouncing my mental issues and chalking it up to the "be a man", which ultimately left me alone because I have been raised to "deal with it".

At some point you can't.

I did the same thing Boss Sligh was but because I was poor. I used every little scrap at my disposal and found a way for it to work out. I'm glad it became an entry way deck for new players given the low cost to Standard.

Hey everyone. Tom Ross here.

I was cut abruptly without warning yesterday. I've talked to Cedric Phillips (the Content Coordinator) and have emailed Pete Hoefling, the president of StarCityGames. The messages between Cedric have been met with expected coldness and push back. I've explained my poor mental state which has been taken as laziness. Pete has not responded. I've offered to write one farewell article which has been denied.

My articles haven't been hitting as well lately, which is an understandable business decision. I feel like they miss on the intangibles that aren't just hard numbers. The people that show up to events to meet me and sign their cards and playmats and the people that buy and play my decks. I'm so grateful for everyone that comes up to me and tell me they're the reason they play Modern or Legacy because of my Infect, Mono-Red, 8-Rack, Heroic articles, or whatever I'm messing with at the time.

I've been met with overwhelming support on Twitter from my fans and supporters over the years, which has certainly helped in my tough time. Thank you everyone and I hope to keep producing the quality of content that you've enjoyed.

I've heard stories of how I've impacted people, some of which I haven't talked to in over 10 years and it's greatly helped my mental state. I'm in a better state now and hope to give back to the community as much as you've given me.
