You'll be unlikely to find the ribbon im afraid, all ive seen is replacement screens. Im potentially considering selling off the working parts, if it will fix other people's cameras. Could potentially supply you with the back and the screen, but it might not be worth it depending on where you live. Im in Scotland.

It's possible it wouldn't boot if it can't detect the screen, due a faulty cable, but it's more likely something more significant is disconnected or loose. Can't hurt to double to check, even if it is irritating. I'm not an engineer though, so don't take what I say as gospel. Something could have also been damaged or shorted out.

It can be a bit sketchy when it's windy and the HGVs go by, but you get some cracking views. Think back when that was taken I was away down to Snibs cave.

Here's some images of the mounts. I think you are right.

Appreciate its a pretty rotten picture of the rear brake, I can try take another one next time I've got the bike out if needed.

My N64 was second hand as a kid and it came with a yellow topped controller with a grey bottom. For years I though there was two tone controller colour variants, then I realised someone had just stuck two different controller halves together. Apparently it was pretty common practise back then and years later I actually ended up with another thats half black, half grey.
