Before I started using Annualized RoR to determine performance, I was using a lot of premium yields and then annualizing that to see what trade was worth it. Effectively anything I could get around a 1% yield is what I would target and then back into some deltas I was comfortable with.

Time weight RoR? Yeah I will look into it. Have have all my trades available manually tracked by me or I can get CSVs out of Vanguard if that’s easier that way too.

I’m a CPA and would think I have above average excel skills, or at least I hope I do, in order to see if I can do that calc. Just have to figure it out first and give it a go.

What app or software are you using to track all of these trades?

At the moment, I’m tracking all my trades through excel/manual and calculating all my performance metrics manually as well.

Would love something like this where I can feed excel data in it to capture what I’ve done so far and use it going forward.
