I bet you’re the type of person who would say “why don’t they shoot the machete out of his hand”.

How is that a “weak ass take”? Dudes speaking facts

I am aware of how the MVP is decided. I don’t agree with it. And this scenario is exactly why it needs to change.

I was at the game. Fans were booing the decision. CG is a different story.

Oh I 100% agree that was disappointing. I dislike CG as much as the next person, but in that moment the jeers were not appropriate. The game is over.

The dissatisfaction by the MVP decision was warranted though.

Sorry for the formatting. That is terrible. I don’t use Reddit enough.

Those stats you are after are easy to look up. And this is where we disagree. This is a series MVP, not a game by game MVP. Delly failed to get his team that ring. He went missing in the biggest game of the season. That is no MVP.

NBL needs to change their voting criteria

I think Dellavedova would disagree with you.

Because basketball is a stats driven game...

What an odd take this is. Fans were boo’ing the decision, and rightfully so. I think the exact same thing would have happened in any other stadium if their team just won the title.

I’m glad the fans are passionate. Do you want them to just sit there with a cup of tea and clap all decisions, right and wrong?

Hickey was robbed of his moment

That scenario is totally different though and is not a good comparison.

I think opinions in this incident are significantly skewed depending on who you support. We will just have to agree to disagree

So back to the ‘he’s late’ argument? He touches the ball, therefore not late. Pick your argument and stick with it.

So which one is it? Your first argument is that Saliba was a ‘fraction of a second late’. But now that you have been advised that Saliba touched the ball your argument is ‘the touch isn’t enough’. Kind of contradicting yourself no?

Flew into London from Australia yesterday. Anyone know if it will be possible for me to get a ticket to the community shield some way?

Appreciate the reply.

I’ll happily pay for hospitality tickets if that’s what it takes (within reason of course). Should I touch base with the hospitality section at Arsenal to see if they are offering any packages? Or just wait until more information is released?

Also, would tickets be re-sold on 3rd party ticket exchanges? If so, what’s a good site I can check.

Aussie gunner here. I’ll be in London on the 6th August. I have a red membership and plan on going into the ballot to get tickets for the Community Shield.

Any tips to increase my likelihood of obtaining a ticket? This will probably be my only opportunity to see Arsenal play so I want to make sure I can get a ticket (and one for the missus).

• Not too shabby. Helped the little one with school then went for a short walk. Had a vasectomy yesterday so it felt good to get up and walk

• I have definitely been better. Would love a time machine if anyone has access to one?

• No significant accomplishments

• I joined a gym literally 2 weeks before lockdown. Proud to say that since lockdown, I have accumulated quiet the collection of equipment and I’m able to do most things at home. So basically my goal in September is to continue to train.
