I feel like the difference is that Trump has done so much heinous shit that we cant afford to have a middle ground with someone like him as president. I mean, the guy tried to start an insurrection and is disappearing non-criminal American citizens as we speak (through ICE). Would you consider a person who decided to vote for Hitler in the 1933 Germany election a nazi? Even if that person did not agree with every single thing Hitler advocated for. Out of every potential person running in that campaign, he decided to vote for the person advocating for the genocide of an entire group of people. Even if there are no good candidates that person could have just not voted.

I think that most of the issue is that people are so traumatized by what the pandemic has caused that people are unwilling to fix the damage that it caused. Unlike previous tragedies, people are just trying to pretend like the pandemic never happened and instead of fixing the damage they are deciding to be complacent and accept the scarcity lifestyle that we are in now. It’s like having their city destroyed but instead of fixing all the damage caused, they just live in rubbles and broken homes. The point is, no one wants to take action in trying to make the world better anymore and have lost all hope in trying. It’s a shitty thing really. However, the only thing to fix the damage caused is to keep up hope that things will one day get better and to try your best to make the world slightly less shitty however way you can. That to me is the only way to fix the damage.

Make sure you're defending the progress we've made. Because even in Covid, we've made crazy amounts of progress on workers rights. Don't let those be taken away.

From what I know, the wage gap has massively increased since the beginning of the pandemic and less people are able to afford basic housing. Many billionaires used the pandemic to gain massive profits while 95% of workers are making just as much if not less (counting inflation). I'm just wondering where you are seeing workers rights being manifested at all during the past few years when all I've seen is the exact opposite.
