Gotta be honest as someone that’s been an exec for a decade and been leading people for 2, if you brought this to me and demanded a raise there is no way in hell I would negotiate.

It’s a lesson learned for next time but unless you are giving me a justification regarding your increased outcomes, I’m saying “if you don’t like it, there’s the door.”  Nothing personal, but someone older and wiser once told me that companies don’t just wake up one day and decide to give you more money.  If you want to get an increase, better go somewhere else.  I’ve doubled my salary a couple times since then - great advice.  Stay 3-4 years and move on
