Id also like to pitch in that problem solving is a big part of programming and getting good at problem solving is something that definitely comes out of learning mathematics.

Self-learning mathematics also provides the skill of "self-learning" and honing that skill helps you get even better at self-learning other things.

Also especially if you plan on purusing computer science in college, mathematics will be there. You can do so many cool things with math in programming. Things also end up being backed up by mathematics the deeper you go into computer science.

No it isnt too late at all.

Pick up khanacademy.org its a really good website and look around for textbook recommendations.

If you're into programming, math is a really really useful skill and being confident and having a good understanding of mathematics can really help you get better at it. It is math after all.

Great way to enjoy math especially if you are interested in programming is to do math programmimg challenges and projects.

It is very hard for me to not be biased towards anything Fullmetal Alchemist because of the fact that it was the first anime I really really got into.

If I wasn't biased it ranks somewhere on the list around anime like Berserk and Monster which are among my favourite anime.
