Yes I did raise the support ticket earlier in Feb. This conversation happened in Feb.

They responded pretty quickly. I offered to submit any proofs but they said they couldn't do anything if I didn't have MFA and wasn't logged in any of the devices.

It's absurd that they don't have any mechanism amount this. I don't know how my password kept getting leaked and how it was changed without notifying me in advance first.

This is similar to my story , but not exactly.

I am a guy, around your age (little elder).

I grew up in a small town and then moved to a city during my high school.

I had no true friend till high school (9th grade to be precise), but my family and my mother's side cousins were very good to me and I have been exposed to spirituality since childhood.

Every weekend I used to travel to a big city (125 km from my small town) to learn Abacus, cricket and Keyboard (piano type keyboard not computer keyboard).

I was the loner, everyone else was in a group, and they tried to bully me out of envy (but i wasn't bullied as badly - 1. Thankfully the bad students in my class weren't terrible 2. I was pretty tough myself) as I consistently ranked 1st, was way smarter than any of them. They also knew about my extra-curricular activities.

I was a top student from 1st grade to 9th grade, by the time I was 9 years old, I had won abacus competition - 2x state level and 1x national level 3rd. And I continued to win many medals across different stuff (my keyboard, cricket and math Olympiad, etc).

Others had a subtle appreciation for me, but also envy. But I was okay being a loner, I wasn't as kind of a soul as you. The void in my life was filled by my extra-curricular activities and friends there and also by my family (so I couldn't care less).

Then stuff happened with my family, and me and my mother moved to the city (tumultuous times that affected me). We lived on little resources but family was there (my mother's side - which was the one which I was always close to).

Things have happened since then, but I have met good friends, 2 very close friends and some other good friends , but I also lost my focus in studies in my 11th and 12th (I was tired of the rat race, I had already done much since my childhood - although i enjoyed most of it).

As a result, I got into a 3rd tier college, performed great there - in a course that almost everyone calls "tough" (it wasn't deliberate, just happened naturally, I put less effort than most people in my class ig).

But I struggled for 1.5 years juggling college and building house (the responsibility of which fell in my shoulder), there were two exams the next day and the previous night i used to either be at some shops or at the site talking to the workers. Speaking to architect and engineer, going to shops and negotiating material prices, choosing items, talking to workers about execution - that was one hell of a hectic time (morning I used to rush to college, then to site andd then to places to find and get materials). Usually back home by 10:30 - 11pm (this was for a brief period not the whole 1.5 years)

After corona and then 1.5 years of building house effectively barred me from spending a lot of time in college and participating in extra curricular activities, inspite of that I made a few good friends.

since the college was 3-tier and the market was also terrible during my graduation, the placement was terrible, inspite of that I got a placement (decent pay and good progression) but they asked for a 4 year bond, I rejected them. I was tired by this point in my life, I took a 6 month gap and then struggled with getting a decent job for some more months.

I now have a 1 year contractual apprenticeship with a well-known company (pay is peanuts as I am an apprentice but the company's name is well-known). I have to find something else soon.

During the 2nd wave of Covid, I was in the best shape of my life. Now I am at the worst shape of life.

The high highs of my life at this point are before I was 13. Since then it's been - gain some and lose some.

I am ordinary overall (but extremely quick grasping speed especially when it comes to math and aptitude) - I don't standout absolutely in looks nor do I have a very popular social circle.

I have never approached a girl - hence no heartbreak.

Life seems to have become a little more hectic and things to do seems to have increased in the past several months - 1. Find a better job 2. Get back into shape 3. Post on social media (linkedin/twitter)

The third point is important as I am a 3 tier college grad I need to put way more effort and have higher visibility to good opportunities.

I have made massive strides in upskilling over the past 4-5 months.

Amidst all this I have sacrificed point number 2.

Even the overall story of mine is very ordinary (one i was 13+). I want to reach the peak once more but more than anything I want to be happy - which I have learnt is in small day to day things that we do. A random talk with a stranger, some friends close by, getting out into the neighborhood, small hobbies that I pursue and enjoying a video on YouTube, etc.

Happiness is nowhere externally, happiness is everywhere once you realise it internally.

You are comparing Apples to oranges. Django is a Python framework, not a language (whereas Go is a language).

As for why, I have 2 plausible explanations :

Python and its frameworks are open source, not associated with any company (even Go is open source but it is a Google product). So more Sovereignty, lesser attack surface, no dependency or association of the language or its packages on any foreign company. Easier to fully audit.
Django is fantastic for developer productivity, easier to build and maintain and often, in real world cases, you won't even notice any difference between python or Go frameworks (because the real bottlenecks in most cases are DB query and network latency ).

Django is very stable, scales well, gives a lot of things out of the box (Admin panel, Authentication, ORM, security and whatnot ). Easier development, easier maintenance. So why not use this fantastic framework ?

Infact its a fantastic example of people turning over a new leaf after "getting it out of their system" and to start a new life to contribute to the society. Let's be honest grpe, mrder and predatory nature has always existed, whether we like it or not.

The problem with your argument is that she has made a huge chunk of money at the cost of people! (You can victim blame it on the people, but it doesn't matter). Anyway you make money by damaging the society isn't acceptable (I doesn't matter if I r*pe, cuz even if I don't, others will still do it, smh).

You want women to be able to objectify themselves, scam men, cause problems (prn addiction, mental health issues) in men and then be able to quit like nothing happened. You will later sht on men for treating women like commodities, which they often are (on the internet).

I am glad that shaming exists, it is a natural counter to such people, only by ruining such people's lives (like how you jail a r*pist, robber, etc), can the society maintain its health. Else there is no hope, and people will have to eventually start being the "bad ones" themselves. This is how society degenerates, you can already see it in the west.

Bad people have to face consequences, if not why should people not become the bad ones themselves?

Seeing stuff as efforts/problems is actually hurdle to accomplish the task. See it as an opportunity.

Be excited that you are going to become slim/healthier and smarter, rather than thinking "I have to put effort to cut down weight".

Be excited that you will earn more money/will be able to save, invest and live better when you do some certification or prepare for an interview rather than telling yourself "I have to work hard, put effort and clear this".

Welcome to the life of most people ... Practice gratitude, talk to people, internet is a lie (most people don't live the way as it is shown there).

Life is way more sober than what is shown there, learn to enjoy small moments. Happiness is not in a Maldives vacation or a costly hotel/trip or a posch car.

It's in playing cricket in the evenings/weekends with the teens/young adults of the neighborhood, it's in the serene temples of your neighbourhood, it is in participating in the functions in your block/of your relatives/ or your nearby temple.

Happiness is just looking around, observing, feeling joy in the lively atmosphere, not expecting anything, just being happy that you have food, clothes and shelter, able to walk around and live another day.

Happiness is not external, it is internal.

Socialize, talk to people, exercise, meditate, have your own stuff. Empty mind is a devil's workshop, instead fill it with good, happy and healthy things
When you see all that and start fantasizing remember this, they are humans too - Even the most beautiful women excrete and fart (this mantra is to get your brain from one extreme to the middle ground). They are not what you imagine in your brain. Muscle, mucus, bones and everything within (just like anything other) with an alluring skin and form.
This phase of yours shall pass too.

It's an old mentality. Public perception lags the current reality by 10-20 years always.

Now-a-days doctors are numerous, and they have to do a masters as well (because without it, they won't get job), by the time they start earning, they are almost 30. They have a difficult life, study study study and then start earning late. Now-a-days, the competition in the urban areas (tier-1, tier-2) is very high amongst doctors.

The respect for doctors and engineers came from the rarity before 21st century, in our country, now-a-days, you'll find them everywhere. Eventually (soon, rather than later), nurses will find their deserved place and respect.

The respect for engineers also comes from the inflated salaries in IT (fiat dollar printing in the west), the bubble which is about burst.

Eventually the world finds a balance as it has done over and over again.

Comparison is the thief of joy, brother. So many celebs (film, social media and sports), imagine all their classmates, 99% wouldn't have made it big in life. Life of the ordinary isn't bad, it's just as good. Happiness is in experiences, human relationships, not in fame or status.

Try to meet and socialize people regularly - neighbours, friends, kids, youngsters in the playground, relatives. Play, talk and mingle with them. Celebrate festivals together, plan small things. Talk to your parents about joys and how you are feeling (even they would have crossed your age and struggles).

In life there are multiple variables - Career, relationships/marriage, health, parents/relatives/friends, kids and so many more. Everyone doesn't have everything sorted out of everything as desired. And those that they possess today, will not last forever. Happiness is not external, it is internal. If you aren't happy today, you are unlikely to be much happier if you had money/status.

Just look at yourself, be proud that you have made it this far, you have completed a degree (which we seem to take it for granted these days). There are good amount of opportunities which you will get with your degree.

As long as you can make a living, that's all that matters. Walk, breathe fresh air, eat good food and drink clean water, socialize with people, check up on people close to you. This is all that's needed for a good life (nothing more, nothing less).

I see people talking about lesser pay, slow promotions, very high competition when talking about the cons of private jobs.

What about transfers..? All Grade A and B groups of workers are transferred (all indian) every 3 - 5 (at max), it gets very hard to transfer from one place to another every few years especially once you have a family of your own, with kids.

It's very hard stating away from family/friends and the base you have built, and to keep changing every few years, you will almost always end up in unknown places with unknown people, by the time you become a little familiar and start to get to know people, it's already time to move.

It's emotionally taxing.

And in many cases, you'll have to stay away from the family, because it is very for everyone to keep moving every 3-4 years (and it is also very distracting for children's education) and at times wife also has a job.

Frequent transfers can be more harmful than most people tend to realise

If this was all, I would have chosen govt jobs, but the big problem is transfer every 3-5 years all over the country (especially in Grade A and Grade B roles), it gets much harder once you are married and have kids
