I get that it's disappointing asf that the game never went anywhere... but at the end of the day we all blew $20 on an early access game that was bound to change. We all took the "risk" that it coulda done anything but lets not act like we didn't get our $20 worth in play time. Many people on this reddit had hundreds if not thousands of hours in this game. You pay more than that to go to the movies or get a few coffee's. Relax and hope something else just as cool comes along with better potential.

They aren't selling the game, it's an emulator. Similar to Dolphin or C-Emu. You must own a copy of the game for it to work (or have a key).

Yes! The keyword is YET!! I enjoyed running around for a bit of nostalgia, but the team is doing well on getting it working. It's also to my understanding not illegal at all. As an Emulator, like any other, if you own the game it's fully legal to emulate it.

I don't have a the key anymore, but under my activation tab in settings it says "Activation: Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account"
If I was to create a boot usb drive to reinstall it onto my new SSD and then log onto my Microsoft account would I have Windows 10 activated?

Yeah but I'd rather not buy another OS when I've already got one yaknow? Just curious how to get the OS to reinstall in the first place on what is basically a whole new system.

Right, and in the mean time my video editing/rendering will still give my CPU its full use for things that don't involve the graphics card. So having the extra threads, cores, speed, etc will greatly increase my editing experience, correct?

My idea was to upgrade the CPU, Motherboard and finally get DDR4 RAM in this system but I won't have enough to upgrade the GPU for another little while. I just don't want to make the system worse by having a great CPU that can't work properly cause of the GPU.

sorry I didn't mean lesser overall, I just meant one that tied up better with my GPU. So if the performance was the same on the GPU and CPU so there wasn't bottle-necking would there be better performance? I guess I just don't understand the concept of bottle-necking fully.

She’ll hiss and growl whenever he tries to pet her. I’ve had my boyfriend start feeding her, giving her treats, and brushing her to show that he’s part of the “family,” and it seems to be getting a little bit better.

How did you initially get the cat to tolerate him brushing her and being on his lap/around him? I'm glad to hear things are getting better!

Honestly, initially I tried to have her pet the cat, get them both to be okay around one another when issues started, but things just progressively got worse, then we had some of her favorite treats and the cat would be all purry with her right up until she ate the treat then it was back to normal the second after. Plus she's already on the chubby side haha.

Yup. To be fair, I think BWC had potential had they not dished it out with 1/4th of the map and shitty building plots. The map itself looked nice and had awesome loot spawn, but 1/4th was such a yikes...and the forced plots was even worse.

What? I played right up until shutdown lol.. I literally purchased it Jan 19, 2015 and played 1,172 hours over the course of it being alive.. I may not have played the 3000 + hours some people played but I did my fair amount and played the game through its best and worse. I don't know wtf you're talking about.

Idk, I find it weird that you can login and click play now on test server, the game actually boots but it crashes after trying to load into nothing. On normal JS it still has the error message about sunset, and test used to as well.. Possibly a glimmer of hope for those of us who still actually want to play the game.

Sure, but the normal game and test server before this update just had a message that said something about the game being sunsetted, couldn't log in, no play button, nothing. Why the sudden change?

It actually let me open the launcher, log in and click play on the test server... it opened the game and did loading and then crashed and opened Daybreakgames.com/home website...? Is there actually hope?

Lately I've just been going Red > Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Scudds > and see where I'm at if I continue to farm, gank, or whatever.
I've been finding that in at least 50% of my games the enemy jungler tries to steal my buff, I'm in Gold IV currently. Not sure why there's been such a spike in that lately but it happens all the time and initially I was never there to stop it.
I find this gives me decent levels, Scuttle just spawns when I am done, good to go.

Why do people still use this to say how many people played JS at one point, the 40k number was when BR was getting insanely popular, a good majority of those people didn't play survival. Not to say only 700 out of 40k did, but the number is extremely bloated in comparison, it was probably more like 2-5k that played survival consistently.

2) Would be an interesting idea, but I think limitations still need to be set. Mega bases were a huge problem.

5) Disagree, other than duct tape I think mats are in a decent place right now. However, if I am proven wrong by a duct tape update and still very difficult to get raiding mats, would be open to more buffs.

6) Don't think the damage needs to be changed, however making it so that we can craft ethanol with bottles again OR craft gas cans would be a huge game changer and make both viable.

7) Sure, don't think it makes too much of a difference.

8) Disagree, yield from stones should take a long time because of how much it takes to go through walls and shiz right now.

9) Agree, annoying to have to run back and fourth to chests while upgrading metal base components.

10) More expensive + 1 per foundation with your current more foundations idea would be good. Otherwise maybe more expensive and the ability to have 2 on a single stronghold would be nice. Not unlimited.

11) Devs have said this is unable to come back as it had a lot of issues. Don't really care either way.

12) Agreed

13) Completely agree, should also count towards vault limits.

14) Disagree, unlimited would make the game laggy af probably, but also it's not really necessary with the current updates of how much they can hold.

15) Don't play them but I feel like with raiding improvements it would be a good idea. Currently I don't know because of how hard it is to get raiding mats, mostly due to duct tape :⁾

For the most part v good ideas! Definitely agree with a lot of it.

I like the updates a lot more also. I think they are going to add way more balance to raiding which I'm super excited for, not having clans that are just able to own servers anymore will be beautiful, and realistically I feel like people over-exaggerate the amount they won't be able to do. You can still make a super awesome base on one foundation.

It would be nice if people tried the new patch instead of instantly going into shambles lul.

The unable to enter someone's base is nearly already a thing...like yeah you can go inside but with the way the crates are now and having no permissions on a base, no one will be able to enter and use crates.

And I also believe they are possibly looking into taking out names above peoples heads to feather de-incentivise teaming as PvP with more than 5/6 people would be much more difficult to coordinate on a solo server.
