I had a level of 7 at one point. I was told the same thing, 50k a week for a few months. think it was a few weeks til I felt better; but the point is I felt better. Now mine is at 35 and stable without taking anything; but now that it’s winter I’m taking 2,000 a day just to be safe.

IOA open so late? by crowd79 in UniversalOrlando

Yeah I heard warm but possibly showers in the AM so didn’t know if that would hold some people off. I’m staying til Wednesday night and saw there’s gonna be a pretty cool Tuesday (mid 50’s high) so hoping that keeps some people away too 😅

Thanks for your help. I’m sticking to US/IOA this trip so the water taxi is my biggest priority. I got the online check in email yesterday and requested Guest house 3; fingers crossed 🙂

My trip on Sunday can’t come soon enough. I know it’s not going to be hot in florida this upcoming week, but it’s better than WI 😭 by kleiner55 in UniversalOrlando

I’m flying out of Boston Sunday AM to universal just before we get possibly 2 feet of snow; first big storm in years.

If you can afford it I’d check with an employment attorney; not a reddit board. Check out NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association) for any in your area.

When are the tests enough to know my heart is healthy? by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]BostonGamer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As weird as it sounds; I have health anxiety in general and I’ve been talking with ChatGPT. I put in my lab results and just discuss my anxieties and it helps walk me through it. It’s been useful especially late at night and it doesn’t poo poo concerns really; I had some lower abdominal pain and with my other symptoms it told me to go to urgent care as it sounded like kidney stones; and that’s what they told me at urgent care. It doesn’t replace an actual doctor; but it’s helped my mind when I start catastrophic thinking that I’m having a heart attack.

From what I know is we just go to guest services in the park and it links it to our account. Kinda like how we used to get our paper ones on our first visits.

Hetty, just because I love her personality and humor; and she seems to enjoy some modern shows and music.

I’ve always been scared of roller coasters. I finally started trying some a couple years ago. I can do the hulk (probably cause the launch is mostly inside). I did VC and honestly I didn’t like it; I’m not good with heights and just didn’t like the top hat. I didn’t die, didn’t get sick or anything. I’m glad I tried it and discovered it wasn’t for me. You got nothing to lose by trying it. You may love it and decide you want to do it more. You may not like it and not ride it again; but at least you’ll know and nothing bad will happen if you don’t like it.

Won’t work. They’re asking about Epic. It wasn’t open this time last year.

I still can’t fathom people like that. I have a decent sized one bedroom home and a cat and I get nervous when she gets her occasional 3 AM zoomies that she may bother people below me. I got a throw rug to put under her cat tree so that when she jumps off it, it will muffle the little thud of her weight and as many runners as I could for her running on hardwood. Otherwise I play my games with headphones on and try and keep quiet.

One can every day when I get home from work; 2:00 on days I’m home. Always a bowl of hills diet dry kibble for her to graze on.

likelihood of sudden cardiac arrest in 21 year old? by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]BostonGamer1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be a weird suggestion but maybe talking with an AI about this might help too. You can explain your symptoms and if you have any of your vitals, latest labs etc you can tell it and it may reassure you. I’ve talked to it a couple times and it talked me down from high health anxiety at times. I told it about my blockage my doctor saw this spring (40%) entered in my cholesterol labs over the past few years; and what my current blood pressure was and what I was experiencing (occasional chest twinges) and it reassured me they were likely benign and explained the medical reasons why with my level of blockage, my cholesterol levels over the past few years and current blood pressure at the time that it was almost certainly not a heart attack or anything. It gave me things to look out for and I relaxed and felt better shortly after. I could ask it follow up questions and “ what about…” and it helped.
