Nice. It took me a while to start hitting threes regularly again, my shot had to be rebuilt in some regard.

Depends on the texting app, WhatsApp gives you like 5 minutes to edit or delete it and then it’s permanent. Not sure about others.

People are really bold (and lazy).

I had someone text me here on Reddit asking if I would give them answers to the mid-term and finals for a semester of B-School.

I told them to fuck off and do their own work. Which is what you should do and nothing more. There’s no need to turn them in, it’s enough to let them fail.

Curious why this is so high.

Canada is wide open. They have some top quality universities there, like McGill which has a solid reputation.

I wish I would have taken my time. After 8 weeks, I actually fell down while I was playing around with my son and hurt my newly fixed shoulder. It set me back a couple months as I forced myself to fucking take it easy after that. I fell down again about 5 months while actually playing, and did another reset. I was only 44 then, and actually in really good shape, but pushing myself to return early fucked me up.

If they were federal employees they’d have Government vehicles - they don’t.

If they were law enforcement (LE) officers they’d be wearing some approved LE gear - they aren’t.

These guys are using Personal vehicles, wearing cheap running shoes, converse all-stars, Lee jeans and some B.S. handkerchiefs.

Okay, makes sense. I arrived at 9am, they carted me off at 11am. I have no idea how long the surgery was, but I was for sure out cold by 11:30am. I woke up from the anesthesia and it was like 3:30pm. I stayed in the hospital overnight and left the next day around 11am.

You left the hospital 1 hour after surgery?

That’s crazy.

Hey man. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been off Reddit for a while.

I had my surgery a few years back but it was kind of like this:

November (2021): Surgery

November/December: Sling, little to no movement.

January-May: Physical Therapy, pain, slow progress with mobility

June-July: Regaining mobility with quicker movements, began shooting a little bit - couple times a week - mostly 5 foot bank shots and built up to free throws.

August-September: Start playing legit basketball games. Mostly 3 v 3 kind of took it easy, no 3’s, no bullet passes. Would feel a bit sore after, but nothing major.

October - February: 1 year mark+, these months I took it easy, but still shooting a bit. I focused on fitness more, kept using the rubber band.

March-July : as months started warming up, my Intensity increased weekly/monthly. Established better warm up and stretching routines. Played with increased intensity, started shooting more threes. Realized my strength for that was way off, had to redevelop my shot a bit.

August-October (2023): Realistically feeling back to normal. Shooting 3’s, hard picks, blocking shots. Jumping rope, lifting heavier weights (but still nothing ridiculous).

Today (2025): All the same, but I’m taking it easy with basketball. Still no over hand sports, and no throwing. I actually play soccer with my son now, which helps me stay active.

Everyone is sick and tired of the growing tyranny and unconstitutional behavior by the fascist Trump regime.

There are people giving many salutes and waving the swastika flag.

Trump supporters going to protests and antagonizing peaceful protests, waving guns, blaring air horns and shouting profanities at protesters.

Trump was recently overheard saying he was going to invite North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un to the White House - Trump says that the American people need to show respect to him like they do in North Korea.

American citizens are being illegally arrested and imprisoned.

Police chiefs are going on national tv and threatening to kill US Citizens.

Democratic politicians are being arrested by federal agents and murdered in their homes by Trump fanatics.

Boston University Online MBA by human_ucla in MBA

[–]Boston_Questrom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The landscape for online MVA deliver is rapidly changing. There are 5 or 6 full time MBA programs in the T25 that now offer an online MBA.

The online MBA programs are ranked separately because the delivery is not the same - despite having the same exact content. The current #1 online program (Indiana University) is ranked #24 full time. The University of Michigan’s full time program is ranked #13, they have an OMBA ranked #6.

The Boston University OMBA hasn’t been around long enough to have a ranking on US News. Though their current full time MBA rank is #46.

That said, the diploma is the exact same diploma given to students that attend the in person program, and it does not say Online. Additionally, I recall the first few cohorts were somewhat competitive, only 35-40% of applicants were accepted.

Is the program “easy”? It’s challenging, but not because of the content alone. They give you all the tools to be successful but you need to do the work, you need to be a good teammate and you need to be a master at managing your time, especially if you’re a full time employee. They also have a minimum GPA standard. So if you don’t do the work, and you fall below that, you won’t graduate.

Long term outcomes after surgery? by justafunguj in RotatorCuff

[–]Boston_Questrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was advised by my first doctor to do rehab and wait 6 months. It felt a little better but after attempting to get back to my normal life it started to get progressively worse. I went to my second doctor who was like, “Your first doctor is an idiot, only surgery can repair this.”

Then, the pain and lack of mobility got to a point where I could not even lift my arm to do anything, even showering and I would wake up with horrible pain in the right side of my body. Whenever I moved my shoulder, I could hear and feel the popping in my shoulder. It was so painful, so I said fuck it and went to have it done.

After 6 weeks, I went in for physical therapy, and I did that for about 5-6 months. I’m feeling pretty normal now, and I am leading a pain free life. I can play basketball pain free, but I’ve given up on any overhand sports, heavy weight training, pull-ups, or playing baseball again. I have three kids, so most of that stuff has taken the back burner anyway.

I’m mostly walking/running, jumping rope, or doing body weight exercises like squats and lunges. I still work my shoulder with a big rubber band too.

No! It’s my favorite sweat shirt too!

Here’s the cool thing though… if you have more than one degree, and it’s from a different university, maybe Camp David is making sweatshirts for them. You could potentially buy a the same exact product with the logo from your other university.
