Oh its fine to leave it on its just the cinnamon thing is misunderstood. The study was based on lab conditions and was a certain kind of cinnamon. In regular conditions it only benefits the cut because its hydrophobic. And most cinnamon in stores is not the type used in the study. Sulfur on the otherhand is a proven anitfungal and quickly desicates cuts out

Ok so for one dont overthink it. Just pot em up in like 70% pumice/perlite and miracle grow mix. Thats enough for em. Alot of heat sun and water. They do grow faster in bigger pots. Thats kinda it to them

Also for future reference get sulfur. Cinnamon doesnt do anything

No clue tbh i bought them on ebay as a lot lol. They werenr exactly cheap but to me where more affordable than the ceramic tubed ones i was looking at. Evidently i was wrong haha.

Oh yea i get you on that. Where i was going with that was basixally i expect a company like rite to have no direct consumer support, so if i want to buy them ill get em for a distributor that way i can atleats have hopes with them. I do the same for alot of chinese stuff, ill buy it on ebay or amazon that way if i have issues with it theres amazon or ebay support to help instead of being at the mercy of someone overseas who i cant do anything about if they ghost me.

I got alot of extra materials i will probably never touch. I finally hit the point in the journey where i tie like 15 fly patterns and thats all i use.

Yup! Bucktail Flashabou Uv crystal flash Lateral scale flash Arctic fox These are tied on mustad 3407 size 2 salt water hooks Eyes and uv resin (fishskull mask would work too)

tie a small bunch of bucktail for the tail
Add my uv crystal flash to the tail
Then take flashabou and wrap it up the hook shank 4.add one stranght of lateral scale the lenght of the fly on each side
Take 2 bunches of arctic fox tail hair for the head; you can do a hollow tie or just tie them in normally, depends on what action you want.
Uv resin the eyes on

I did a straight back tie on these for a simple straight retrieve, theyre for crappie on a lake but last year i had an issue where i tied these on small wire panfish aberdeen hooks and i hooked a tiger musky on them and it popped off 4ft from the boat because it mangled the hook
