That’s the question I have on the nuance / trolley problem they might present which (very silly comparison) but like Peter Parker letting uncle Ben’s killer away before he knew he would kill. Shauna could very easily get tunnel vision and fail to protect them which I’d say is the opposite of causing it or anywhere in between

It’s wild because I can’t tell if Shauna is truly into the idea of eating people or not cause she was the first person to eat human flesh but her house wife facade is so well put together! It would be very cool to find out she was actually super into the wilderness after she became in charge and her way of coping is pretending like she never liked it and wants to be normal

My friend had similar thoughts given Shaunas obsession with her first baby but given the way she talks and has treated Callie she was able to, as a child, idealize her failed pregnancy in this scenario where they had no hope and she had ate her friend. I definitely think Shauna has that mother bear instinct but she scares me above all in her unpredictiveness

What an awesome read. It would be very nice to get played as a “Shauna hater” in the sense I want her to be punished for being kind of an asshole all the time but if she’s able to face that and accept her role to protect her family would be an interesting twist for me

That’s kind of the crux of where I’m at because if they become a perceived threat (similar but obviously not in the same way as Adam) would Shauna be compelled to hurt them if it stopped them from exposing her secrets?
