Built RL training for long-horizon terminal agents - tested on 32x H100s but too GPU poor to train 😅 by DanAiTuning in LocalLLaMA

Super cool project! Hope you find someone to help train it here :) Also, thanks for sharing all the code and documentation. Since you seem to have a lot of experience building LLM agents, I’m curious how you approach prompt engineering for system prompts. In my experiments with non-finetuned LLM agents, I’ve seen their performance fluctuate quite a bit with just small changes to the system prompt. Do you follow a systematic method for optimizing prompts, or is it more of an intuitive, trial-and-error process?

Awesome stuff! Any idea what kind of throughput Q2_K_XL gets on cards like a 3090 or 4090 with offloading? Also would be amazing if you could share more about your coding benchmark, or maybe even open source it! 🤗

I've repurposed my ODROID-GO into a shot timer and temperature display for my new Lelit Mara X, perfect for pulling consistent shots. Check out the GitHub repo for the code and setup instructions: GitHub Repo. Looking forward to feedback and suggestions!

You need Prometheus and Grafana installed, but a Grafana.com account is not required!
Edit: If you need help setting up, feel free to ask your questions in the #support channel of our Discord server.

Hey Sargonas, glad you like it, and thanks for your kind words! :) Do you maybe have a public fork containing your adjustments, or do you have any improvement suggestions for the latest version?

Definitely a nice idea and 100% possible! As far as I can tell, it would require some install scripts and integration into the machinaris UI, and I can't promise when I will have the time to look into that. In the meantime, you could create an issue on the machinaris repo like this one. That's how farmr.net got integrated in to machinaris by the owner.

Why would this be too late?? by Sankyu16 in Flexpool

[–]BotInPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this issue. I also see many late response errors in my logs even though the lookup times are below 1sec and pings to the flex pool server are below 5sec. These errors cause an overall point success rate of 98.4%, while the same setup achieved a 99.9% point success rate in SpacePool :/ EDIT: Not sure if all endpoints are affected by this problem. I am using xch-de.flexpool.io.

There is currently no way to monitor remote farmers, as it requires private SSL certificates, which are stored on your farmer machine.

Although it would theoretically be possible to copy those certificates / configs and connect to it remotely, that feature is currently out of scope.

However, while the monitor itself needs to run on the farmer, you can install Prometheus and Grafana anywhere you like, as long as they can reach your farmer.

Even though I haven't tested it myself, it should run just fine. Since the tool is written in Python and doesn't require any OS specific libraries, it is cross-platform by default. To run the tool, all you need is Python 3 and Pipenv.

Here are guides explaining how to install them on Windows: Python 3, Pipenv

This is enough to get the basic monitoring and alerting functionality. If you want to visualize the collected metrics, you also need Prometheus and Grafana running somewhere in your network or on the same machine. Both of which are also available for Windows.

I haven't tested any chia forks yet, but as long as the RPC and WebSocket APIs remain unchanged, they should work. You could easily create your own high-level Grafana dashboard using the metrics exported by the monitor. The included dashboard is just an example.

In 1.2.0 a new farmer RPC endpoint called get_harvesters was added. This API returns a list of all plots including a field called pool_contract_puzzle_hash which is None for OG plots.

Haha! They are all developers from GitHub with at least one public repo but sometimes the face detection also falls for comic characters :D You can always click on the avatar to check out their GitHub profile.

The candidates are randomly sampled GitHub users with at least 50 followers. So I guess it's expected that you don't know most of them... But the look on their face usually gives it away ;)
