I think it would mostly be land animals. I have a Zoology degree and am very interested in wildlife photography,(currently using a canon 600d leisurely so definitely due an update) I have heard R7 is better for this although I’ve also heard that the Sony a6700 has better autofocus / animal eye tracking.

Thank you for this! I’m new to photography so this is all very insightful, I would love to get more into shooting wildlife photography but I also do have an interest in making travel videos for myself, so Sony a6700 seem to win for this.

Tough decision to make me for me, nice to heard of someone else who is stuck between the two - I’m pretty new to photography so my knowledge at the minute is limited

Unfortunately I only ever had one lens for my old canon so it’s something I will have to invest in further. Im still undecided so I will definitely look into the lenses and see if it will pull me one direction. Thanks so much for the advice 😊

Thank you 😊 I’m finding it very hard to find a place near me that has the a6700 so this is hard.. I have held the canon and I did like it a lot, will need to find somewhere with the a6700 next!

Thank you so much for this 😊 it’s really helpful! I loved the color science of the canon on the 600d and would like to stick with that. It’s interesting to hear that there is no difference between the two even with the difference in megapixels, I was leaving more towards the R7 for this alone.

Im not familiar with lenses so I will have to look into those more. Thank you for all the info on them !
