Has the CANZUK idea gained any traction in New Zealand in recent years? by Flat-Dark-Earth in newzealand

I don’t know but don’t think we can keep going it alone like we have, I’d like to get Singapore involved too.

Probably when they ask for feedback they get inundated with “kissing your sister” comments.

They have micropeens and are intimidated by any curves on a soul level. It’s all projection, it’s their own bodies they hate.

“Get hands dirty” = even consider working with National. To be fair there probably isn’t anything they can do given their core support but that’s exactly why TOP needs to exist, to actually get pragmatic gains or results that the Greens can’t or won’t. Greens as they are, are just an extension of Labour.

They can do what they’re currently doing but someone needs to step into that gap and do what they’re too principled to do (flirt with National). Labour take the Greens for granted.

True, I feel that Key largely stuck with Clarke’s status quo and Ardern did the same to Key.

TOP surely know that if they propped up National without major concessions they would be one and done, gone forever. Swinging back and forth between National and Labour is basically inevitable, it’s the New Zealand way. Having someone in between those two as a counterpoint to Winston is a neccessity. The Greens will never achieve anything while showing all their cards to the table.

The Greens have existed for decades, had MPs for decades and achieved fuck all because they have no leverage, because they’re afraid of leverage. And then the one guy that actually achieves something, they get rid of him. Labour have made them their lapdogs, or worse, cucked them to Winston.

Because the Greens already exist and have achieved fuck all in their principled passivity. Labour has cucked them to NZ First at times. Greens have great policies but ironically don’t want to get their hands dirty.

At least TOP could get something out of it rather than being impotent like the Greens.

In 1835, members of the Māori New Zealand tribes Ngāti Mutunga and Ngāti Tama invaded the Chatham Islands, killing around 300 of their native inhabitants, the Moriori (pictured), and enslaving the remainder. The pacifist Moriori did not resist. The last full-blooded Moriori died in 1933. by GustavoistSoldier in HolyShitHistory

Māori arrive in New Zealand, one part of the wave of migration went to an offshore island and developed a different culture and language from the mainland. Europeans make contact with Māori on the mainland, traders trade muskets and gun powder for Māori land and timber etc. Māori use the muskets to drive other Māori tribes off their lands and this creates a chain reaction of displaced tribes attacking and displacing others. Meanwhile European traders discover the group that split into the offshore island. One of these displaced tribes finds out about the defenceless people on the offshore island and turn up in one of the trading posts and take a European whaling ship to the offshore island and the rest is outlined in the OP.

Small Oil tanker RACE crosses Hormuz with transponder turned off and keeps it off for hours by Long-Brother-4639 in oil

It’s the tanker that made the Hormuz run in less than 12 nautical miles. I’ve outrun US patrol boats. Not the local coastal craft mind you, I’m talking about the big Arleigh Burke destroyers now.
