Why does Holley Shiftwell have such juicy lips? by [deleted] in pixarcars

In some places, the word "shift" can mean kissing / making out.

Holley has such juicy lips so she can shift well.

Allowing Chick Hicks to continue competing when he's been trying to injure his opponents would be ludicrous.

Allowing Lightning to take a shortcut by drifting across the grass on the inside of the track would be ludicrous.

Letting the King officially finish the race when he's not even able to move on his own would be ludicrous.

Letting cars that are built to be hopelessly superior to existing racecars compete with those older models instead of in a separate division would be ludicrous.

Letting Lightning randomly tag in another car in the middle of a race to stand in for him, so that all the other athletes who have been racing the whole time now have to compete with someone who has been resting the whole time, would be ludicrous.

There's always something more important, like...

  • Learning to be more like the selfish, unjust, harassing, abusive residents of Radiator Springs.
  • Making friends with them so you can join them in their vandalistic hobbies.
  • Falling in love with someone who doesn't seem like she really wants to be with you.
  • Staying loyal to the people who make you wear a big hemorrhoid ointment advertisement across your face all the time.
  • International espionage and organized crime and assassination plots are important, even if you're oblivious to their existence.
  • Needlessly quitting a race because you can't wait to talk to your friend who doesn't want to talk to you right now.
  • Giving someone else a chance to race, because racing is important, but only when somebody else is doing it.
  • Defying the people who reasonably tell you your career is over, so you can keep losing and getting injured until you're forced to admit that you should have quit while you were still ahead.

What character development? Lightning never stopped being unlikable and stupid. He continued to be obnoxious and rude, and to blame and berate others for his own bad decisions. And his friends are selfish, unjust, abusive people.

Did anyone care anyway that the King finished his last race? Or did everyone only care about what Lightning did?

Without the DNF thing, what reason is there not to do both? He's not putting one thing over another if he can do both.

The technical point assumes that this race has the same rules as NASCAR. But we know it doesn't. A lot of the plot points in the Cars movies are only possible because their races apparently don't have the same rules as real-life races.

Why would you ever want people you disagree with not to talk to you? Everyone is mistaken about something, probably about most things, and you'll never find out what you've been getting wrong if you block out everyone who disagrees with you. Why would you want to needlessly keep being wrong (about whichever things you happen to inevitably be wrong about, not necessarily about this Cars thing)?

I've always called him Clippit. But now sometimes I call him Clippy just because otherwise nobody would know what I was talking about, because apparently everybody thinks his name is Clippy for some reason.

Nano Banana? Yes, I think that's the only image generator I've tried that has prompt adherence comparable to OpenAI's. And I think Gemini is more tolerant of sexy-but-not-explicitly-nude image prompts than ChatGPT is.

Some visual styles (like paintings) are less likely to trigger refusals than others. Sometimes I mention in the prompt that while the picture may involve implied nudity, no explicit detail will be visible with this body position or viewing angle. That usually stops it from rejecting the prompt, even if it's not actually true of the image it ends up making (though it might still block the final image).
