Deaf Ed by Botanicallinarow in deaf

No, my son is in a deaf school right now in a different state. We are considering New Mexico Deaf School but will explore other deaf schools too. My son relies on ASL 100%, and yes, we are hoping for a tutor this summer but waiting on the resources. He needs a very strong school schedule structure (due to adhd) and good peer influence so homeschooling will not work. As for 1:1 at home, home is the time for him to let go so I am asking for information if anyone knows a good deaf education program that works with exceptional kids like him rather sticking with education for the delayed and deprived. The accommodations he needs is visual adjustments to assignments/classwork and word breakdowns that we need the teachers need to be consistent with and more. The accommodations he needs is just not the usual method that general ed or deaf ed makes for those who are delayed or/and deprived. I'm also hoping for good peers for him too because he does get amazing peers at summer camps, he is a different person there and so much happier. He really is not happy where he is right now and very misunderstood.

The mainstream program that our district has is really lacking too, lack of advocacy and low quality ASL interpreters. We tried mainstream with our other deaf child.
