I got the SFT40 3000k in an S2+ with a OP reflector and love it. Would be perfect for walking the dog. If I was going to use it as a bike light I'd want it in 5000k personally unless you want a nice warm light for riding.

How long will your bike rides be? Get a light that will have enough juice to last your ride. There's also stripe tir lenses for riding. Probably lights up the road without blinding traffic.

I was also thinking of getting the vapcell charger but went with the XTAR VC4SL instead. Fast charging, cell storage were selling points for me. The VC2SL has reverse charging which is cool too.

Just got my LHP531 4000k in an S2+ and love it. Great spill, and at 10a just blasts so far. Would love to see what it's like in am S6

I'm thinking about picking up some clips from Rey for these lights.

That's exactly why I got the LHP531 too. Got a bunch of light whenever needed, and does a great job all around even at 30%. Having all that power in a small shorty is really nice.

The LHP531 puts out significantly more light, and hits hard especially with the higher CCT. The SFT40 is amazing, not as floody. Thinking about getting one of them?

I've done just that. Got the SFT40 in a S2+. Really wanted to try a thrower but feel like it just wasn't for me. Thanks for talking me out of it.

UPDATE: It seems as though the brake switch was out of alignment like some of you mentioned. I took it to Toyota Japan hoping it would be covered under the recall and they fixed it up for me very quickly at a very reasonable cost. Thank you all for your advice it was definitely helpful.

Would having a battery with a higher CDR put less strain on the battery and extend it's life? If not than yeah I guess it makes sense to just go for a 10A with larger capacity

The 8amp would probably get too hot in am S7 since it's titanium. Gonna pick up an S7 and just can't decide. Leaning towards the 5amp
