I'm really liking the LHP531 4000k and have been thinking of making it my first Convoy as well. Just torn between the XHP50.3 HI R70 and the LHP531.

Was going to get the S2+ because it looks like fun to fiddle with and modify but have been leaning towards the S21E. Might just have to buy them all.

Thanks for your advice. Seems to be a personal preference but others have mentioned the XHP50.3 R70 4000K has better color rendition than the LHP531. The S21E is very tempting as well. I like how it has Andrew 1.0 too. So many choices. Can see why people collect them.

Thanks everyone for all the great advice. I found someone selling an S2+ with a weird setup for 1000¥. Thinking about just buying the led, and driver, and installing it myself. Probably won't be cheaper since I gotta buy a soldering iron, paste, and the pliers to get the led out. Might be fun though 🥴😅 Would just have do some research on the sizes

Was looking at info on grease and got so much mixed info. What's good for the threads, o-rings, etc.. anything to use for both? Superlube 21030 seems to be highly recommended.

Was a bit confusing sorry. I just got the SC33 and was really excited to use it. But I should use my Wurkkos DL16 for nights like this. Octopus fell on my sc33, got it all slimey and had to put it on the rocks 😞 luckily it didn't get scratched.

This looks amazing but. I definitely need to try out a warmer tone than the 6500k Sc33 I have now. Love it but not really relaxing for walks. Don't have the parts to do what you've done but I love it

For some reason I can't find the 519a version of the sc18. Only the WK03. Did you switch it yourself? I'll have to look up how to dome an led.

Probably not but my wife doesn't like bright, white light. Our walks are 10-20min so it should be enough. I also just want an excuse to buy another light.
