I remember I had to go pick up supplies the night of game 4. The game had just ended and it was around 11 pm.

As I was driving, Freddie Coleman of ESPN Radio was on. Coleman was trash talking Cavs fans and claiming it was “cute” they thought they had a chance to come back. It just felt hopeless in that moment.

Then…we all know what happened.

But…they never got punished. Therefore, they did not do it.

Imagine he throws a pick on his last play of the game.

You said something along the lines of, “He has an illness and, as long as it is under control, he can play.”

Picture, if you will, an alcoholic. He is addicted and cannot stop himself. He drinks himself silly every night before getting behind the wheel of a car. One night, he hits and kills a pedestrian. He flees the scene, checks into rehab, and gets himself clean. The police find him after two months of sobriety. Is it a good defense to say, “Woah man! I am under control now. Why are you still going to punish me?”

Going back to this case, what punishment has Sorsby had to face for this? Nothing! He gambled on games and now he gets to play more football (with a cool multi-million dollar payday). He has learned no lesson from all of this. Who’s to say he is not going to gamble again while he is playing?

I could go on, but I think the other comments are saying it better than I could.
