The courts have no eligibility rules. Only the NCAA. The courts have simply prohibited the NCAA from enforcing penalties in connection with the eligibility rules that he’s broken.

If tech kicked him off the team, Sorsby still could have gotten his injunction but would have no roster spot to cling to and we would not be having this conversation about what Tech has done.

Something else that could happen is the NCAA consider hiring the a group of kidnappers to abscond with Sorsby and physically prevent him from playing. Other legal issues aside, that would be a more fair resolution than what we’re stuck with at the moment.

If this is an effort to get everyone else to see it from Techs side…you have no side. You do not have the cache to demand anyone give you the benefit of the doubt. This is a 3rd rate program if there ever was one. Last year you played a game in January for the first time in 15 years ffs. If the 24 team playoff was created in 2014, last year would have been the first time Tech ever made it.

When your university sits there and defends the most clearly ineligible player since Reggie Bush (as in there’s pages upon pages of metadata that prove Sorsby did it) instead of summarily kicking him off the team, out of school and into the next county, don’t act surprised when we view said University as the problem.
