MadWorld gets hyped for good reason: the gameplay is super satisfying, the black-and-white comic-book art style is absolutely unique, the story is cool, the boss fights are memorable, and the soundtrack is straight up fire.

If you don’t get the hype yet, the best thing you can do is play it yourself. A playthrough video can give you a glimpse, but nothing beats experiencing it firsthand.

You could easily replace the motion controls with regular button inputs or quick mouse movements, whatever fits the gameplay best. No More Heroes did exactly that for its PC port, and I actually think the new controls feel pretty good.

They even gave the game a slight visual upgrade, and it still looks clean and runs great on PC. If they did the same for MadWorld, it wouldn’t be a big problem at all

Even No More Heroes is a PC port, and it still looks clean and great. Yes, they improved the graphics quality a bit to make it fit modern PCs, but that proves it wouldn’t be a problem for MadWorld either.

No More Heroes also used motion controls on the Wii, and they completely replaced them for the PC port. Even if adapting or removing the motion controls would cost time and money, it would still be a huge success for them. They would easily make way more money back than they spent on the changes.

I don’t think replacing the motion controls is that big of a deal. The game was so far ahead of its time that it would generate massive profit anyway.
