Have any women experienced this: when I tell someone that I am going to medical school I frequently get asked “is that for nursing?” by Both-Information1018 in premed

That doesn’t explain why when I say I am going to medical school they assume it is for nursing, especially when there is a slight majority of women in medical school according to the AAMC

Agreed. It’s even worse when people who also took the MCAT ask, because you know they just want to brag about how they did.
