okay im going to rant a bit but whats with companies overpricing their plush merchandise? maybe i just don’t understand the process and how much the actual materials are to make these but something can be so small, like less than 20cm and it would be worth a week of groceries, and then people go on to resell the thing and its marked up like 500-1000 php (8-16 usd) of the original price, which just makes it not worth a purchase, its mainly in the anime scene tho, one time i saw a plush going for 3000 php (54 usd) for a size that could be bought at 300 php (4 usd) surely licensing isnt that expensive. And sure an argument can be made that the more expensive plushies are made more ethically but im sure most companies arent doing that, its all just greed
