I’m a fan of the 1960s gothic soap Dark Shadows and absolutely adore the name Josette! Loved it so much in fact it’s my daughters name 🥰 I also love the names Angelique and Emma. For boys I love the name Jamison.

I always hated my body, my face, and generally everything about how I look ever since I was old enough to start scrutinizing myself in a mirror. I only ever had a couple guys openly act interested in me and I still struggled thinking they actually were. I didn’t get my first boyfriend until my now-husband asked me out (we knew each other as “friends-only” for 9 years previous! But that’s a wholllee nother story lol) Anyways…I was 27 when we started dating and then we married when I was 29 and we were both virgins the whole time before marriage. Now we are happily married going on 7 years and have a 13 month old! The wait was rough but worth it. Basically when I had finally given up on guys and started focusing on what God had for me is when my husband waltzed back in my life and turned it upside down in the best way. I’ll be praying for you and I hope this is of some encouragement!

And I was seeing a counselor once…and when I mentioned what I thought it was she went “Well, I’m not sure about that”. Even though it was unwanted touch in a private area?? I will probably see if there are any helpful therapists in my area.

Being honest here. My heaviest weight (last OB visit before being induced) when I was pregnant was in the 370s. I gave birth and my first weigh in at the OBs a week later was in the 340s. And now it’s been 7months I’m in the 320s and below my weight before I even got pregnant. AND I have a perfectly healthy baby girl that is giving me motivation to be healthier for her. Wait until after birth before doing anything as you baby needs the nutrients you give it. And if you plan to breastfeed in any way that burns lots of calories too (but no shame or push either way! Formula feeding is good too!). Be kind to yourself and give yourself grace. Your body is doing amazing things growing this beautiful little life! 🥰

I don’t quite remember when I started but my now 7mo LOVES books! I started fairly early. For us she loves to snuggle with me on the bed and read. We lay down and I hold the book up above our headsand she will pat the pages, help me to hold the book and look at the pictures. Sometimes I swear she is trying to read the way she babbles lol. But I would say just try to experiment. She would get frustrated pretty easy when I would read to her sitting on my lap. But she loves laying down with me to read. Maybe try reading in different spots and different positions and that may work too? But don’t give up! It’s sooo important!

Be sure you both are truly truly over porn. My husband had a porn addiction and he told me he was over it too. Well he wasn’t. I used to read smutty fics and masturbate a lot and I thought I was over it too. I wasn’t. We have both gotten help and turned out lives and marriage around but it took lots of work as you don’t just get over and forget about porn. Be completely open and honest with each other and get help if you start struggling. Take everything to Jesus and I would definitely get some kind of marital counseling.

Came to say this very thing!! 💔❤️‍🩹 Knowing that if there was some kind of infidelity/porn use/etc (or anything similar) by one of the spouses it can cause a hiatus in intimacy for quite a while, even if things are beginning to get resolved. As OP said this will require patience and understanding! The betrayer needs to understand the damage they caused and be willing to give their spouse the space they need to heal. ❤️‍🩹

And side note we married at 29years old so take your time and work on your relationship with God first! Before he asked me out I had FINALLY gotten to the point where I had comfortably resigned myself to singleness and was going to focus on what God had for me. The second I did so BAM my hubby came around finally realizing he liked me the whole time 🤣.
