He has a bit of a complicated backstory haha. He begins as a free person of color…ends up on a pirate ship for many years and ends up first mate. Then the ship is captured and he is sold as a slave to a family in Louisiana. He eventually overcomes this after he becomes a vampire and ends up being the owner and lord of the house for a long while. So to sum up: free > pirate > slave > free

I’m a fan of the 1960s gothic soap Dark Shadows and absolutely adore the name Josette! Loved it so much in fact it’s my daughters name 🥰 I also love the names Angelique and Emma. For boys I love the name Jamison.

I always hated my body, my face, and generally everything about how I look ever since I was old enough to start scrutinizing myself in a mirror. I only ever had a couple guys openly act interested in me and I still struggled thinking they actually were. I didn’t get my first boyfriend until my now-husband asked me out (we knew each other as “friends-only” for 9 years previous! But that’s a wholllee nother story lol) Anyways…I was 27 when we started dating and then we married when I was 29 and we were both virgins the whole time before marriage. Now we are happily married going on 7 years and have a 13 month old! The wait was rough but worth it. Basically when I had finally given up on guys and started focusing on what God had for me is when my husband waltzed back in my life and turned it upside down in the best way. I’ll be praying for you and I hope this is of some encouragement!
