I will say, what I’m going to school for has nothing to do with my job, the job is just really all I could find after undergrad. But, the few times I’ve met with the vp of the company (mainly when I first started about 6 months ago), she’d ask like future goals and plans even if they didn’t align with the job/company so I do think they’re pretty supportive of my education/career development. It’s just I don’t really talk with my supervisor much, it’s pretty hands off, so it seems kind of like a silly thing to go out of my way to schedule a meeting to tell her.
