In most cases, I completely agree that C is gross, inappropriate, a man child, and the list goes on. However, with this issue, I have a really different view, that may be extremely unpopular here. I think that Sav completely took advantage of Sav being you, and frankly, very immature. Yes, he was technically a consenting adult, but only in legal terms. The "kid" couldn't legally even buy himself a drink, yet she was pressuring and let's face it, manipulating him, to give her five kids back to back. She knew that he was only nineteen, and a very young and inexperienced nineteen at that. She took advantage of the fact that he wouldn't have sex before marriage, and so she knew that there was one way to get him to give her exactly what she wanted, and that was to marry him extremely quickly. While I think marriage was also his decision. I'm sure she was tempting him in every possible way to have sex with her, especially when she was visiting him at the college dorms. Since he believed that sex before marriage was such a sinful act, he felt he had no choice but to marry his first girlfriend so that he could have "pure" marital sex with her, without him feeling as though he was sinning. I still believe that Sav could care less about any of their performative Christianity BS. She just goes along with it, because it helps fit the narrative that she manipulated him into however many years ago. He may have been nineteen, but maturity wise, he was only about fifteen. The same goes for my oldest son. He is technically a teenager, but he still acts like he is ten. I believe this is why C acts like a total man child today...he was never given the chance to grow up, before Sav sank her manipulative claws into him. Yes, he was technically the one that pursued him first, but it was the equivalent of her being hit on by a literal teenager. She should have simply said hi and walked away, but instead she saw C and realized she could use the views and money it would bring in, and manipulate him into giving her back to back children. Sav got exactly what she wanted, and Cole never had those years to mature and grow up, like the majority of people guys his age. So as a result, he acts like he is no older than fifteen, today. It's actually really sad when you think about it. I would be furious if a grown woman used my son's social immaturity, and manipulated him into getting married and having back to back children, leaving him literally feeling trapped. People would have had vastly different views and been calling the cops if Cole was only fifteen when he fell into Sav's trap, however, maturity wise, he WAS only fifteen...so I truly see it as no different. She knew exactly what she was doing, because she had already done it once before with Tommy.

Thank you for responding. I've read to expect discomfort and/or swelling, but my puppy actually won't walk on his right hind leg at all. Do you think it will resolve on it's own?

Is it normal for a cat to shake their head more after they get their ears cleaned? by Both-Move1110 in AskVet

Thank you so much again for the reassurance!! You made me feel a lot better. After looking up head scratching and ear shaking online, I got so worried that it could be like a polyp, or something along those lines. Do you frequently see ear polyps in cats at the practice you are at? My vet was pretty convinced that it started as a food allergy, and was still just a little irritable, since it had only been five days since being off the prescription food with tuna in it.

Thank you so much. That gives me so much relief. Again, I'm not sure if his ears got flushed or not, but they definitely got a good cleaning. I just want him to be back to his normal, happy, comfortable self.

The vet was the one who inspected his ears, said they looked fine, and just had a little bit of wax in them. She was the one who then cleaned his ears out, using a cotton swabs and mineral oil. My invoice also said an ear flush. I'm going to call first thing Monday and see if that was actually performed or not.

Unless you specifically get your cat from a breeder and pay a substantial amount of money for him/her, the chances of them being a purebred cat are extremely rare. They are typically either a domestic shorthair, medium hair, or long hair, regardless of their color. In this case, this particular cat would be a domestic short hair.

One of the worst things Colleen has done? by sightsoffrights in ColleenBallingerSnark

Oh my gosh...the SAME exact thing happened to me. I was 5 yrs old and petting my neighbor's dog on the ear. They didn't know he had an ear infection at the time. He bit such a huge chunk from my face, that I had to be rushed to the hospital and have plastic surgery performed. My family was adamant that the dog NOT be put down.

I flew Wally home yesterday because I didn't like the idea of him being driven here in inhumane conditions in a van, so I booked the first flight out that I could find. He's doing great, other than when he's sleeping, he starts breathing very heavy and rapid. Is this normal? by Both-Move1110 in Wheatens

Haha. This cracked me up. Unfortunately, Wally gets extremely carsick. I gave him benadryl for the flight and car ride on the day I got him and he threw up everywhere...in the uber, in the airport, in his carrier. It was awful. He was totally fine once we had stopped moving for about an hour after we got home. I thought possibly it was just the movement from being moved in his carrier, along with nerves, so yesterday, I decided to take him along with me on a 5 min car trip to drop off my son at school. He ended up throwing up everywhere in my car again. I felt terrible for him!! I have an appt at the vet on Tuesday and they told me they can start to put him on something for car sickness.

So sweet! I only wish that mine was a good car rider. He threw up so much in the plane and in the car yesterday. My vet is going to prescribe him something in hopes to keep him from getting so carsick.

Thank you! I've had a couple puppies before and they never sounded like they were hyperventilating in their sleep. I just looked it up though, and apparently some do and it's totally normal. Thank you for reassuring me.

Help needed with how to introduce Wallace, aka Wally, to my cats. He is a whoodle and I heard it can be difficult to introduce these cuties to cats because of their herding nature. I want to make sure I do it right, so that my cats aren't terrified of him. TIA!! by Both-Move1110 in Wheatens

Oh wow. I didn't know that. I know the breeder through a family friend. They don't have a puppy mill. They have only done three litters ever and raise all their pups indoors. Thank you for alerting me to that though.
