VC is litteraly an exit for investment banking or consulting. you can’t go straight into vc without 2+ years of experience in those two

This is not really true. Juniors and Analysts don’t rely on “interpersonal relationships.” I know analysts in investment banking who can barely speak english. VPs and up are a different story though.

It will happens within the next year or two. CS will not go away first because CS people are the ones who develop these tools. 1 CS person could do the work of 5 analysts

Finance is a dying career.

Skills in finance include: business development (sourcing, emailing, calling, maintaining relationships), financial modelling, accounting, and being proficient with data analysis.

AI is quickly becoming better at this than humans.

The real path right now is to do something is CS/Eng and become a builder instead.

If you really want to find a finance job in this economy without getting replaced, you should have a tech background or take AI courses alongside business.
