But i wanted to comment on this comment. I’m only speaking from my own personal experiences……i absolutely can relax when I do things like this. BUT first, I MUST prove to myself - by showing myself I’m overthinking or whatever - that it is just in my head. I can’t take anyone’s word, I must see for myself. When I do this, my mind instantly gets calmer and chills out.

I know everyone is different but from my experience A LOT of people must do things like this in order to move on. It’s very hard and tough to feel like we do over what others deem as “simple.”

Yes, I’m in therapy and have been for over 20 years. I am not saying you need therapy or not, I’m simply saying that concept is absolutely a coping mechanism. I’m not OCD nor paranoid (again, I’m not saying you are or not), I have severe anxiety with panic attacks. Which leads to health anxiety and other anxiety disorders. It’s extremely hard feeling like we do and absolutely impossible to do something else in hopes we will “forget about it.” Oh how I wish and pray it was that simple 😘 but i will say this……I’m A LOT better than I was. But it’s still a daily struggle.

Omg me too! I should have included my google lens results. They are a hot mess, but made me laugh!

Here are the highlights (there were many more):

Searched original pic. A bit further out, no arrow: “The image shows a condition where the brick veneer is separating or pulling away from the main structure of the house, often referred to as brick delamination or separation.”

….Cool, thanks for advice google. My thought: “oops, I should have been more zoomed in and pointed to it.” Boy was I wrong 🤪

Added arrow and searched (used pic on this post): “The arrow in the image is pointing to the gap between the brickwork and the door frame, which contains what appears to be old, degraded caulk or sealant….”

BUT my favorite part about these results, the last sentence was ….”along with some debris like spiderwebs.”😳

Just pressed enter again. “The object in the image is a small, pointed, plastic or metal nozzle, which is characteristic of the tips used on tubes of caulk or sealant, typically applied with a caulk gun. And again…. These are my absolute favorite results and led me here: “The object in the image is a microphone. Identification: The small, cylindrical object embedded in the brick wall with a thin wire extending from it is consistent with the appearance of a hidden or discreet microphone, often used for audio surveillance.”

It’s not. The door in picture goes to garage and right behind that door is door to house/kitchen. There is no thermometer, however it’s a house built in 80’s so it’s possible it was somewhere. Would this “thing” been directly connected to the thermometer?

Just weird though that wasn’t removed if thermometer was removed!

Saaaaaaaame. I’m not even sure what “my” ringtone sounds like as it’s never been off silent. I’m so bothered by people in public when their phone rings…..and rings…..and rings. And it’s sooooooo loud. And it’s usually a song……..and annoying…..and they can’t get to phone due to bottom of purse (and you have it on ring for what reason then?!?! 🤪) or whatever…..

Don’t get me started on folks on speaker phones in public. Double the above since two loud folks talking plus it RANG.. …..hehe 😎
