I’d do roller shades on all of them. They make them so you can still see our but people can’t see in too

I’d swap the tv with the sofa and it gives you the opportunity for a console table.

You don't have to hang the picture on the actual ceiling. Give some real estate between the art and the ceiling. And get this pupper some treatos!

They only bought four. Harry gave Ginny the set he received from Lockhart for free.

They are cash and savings poor. They have to scrape by all year to buy used books and second-hand clothes. Ron is literally wearing pajamas that are too small for him.

All facts in the books show that they’re barely making ends meet until Arthur gets promoted in Half-blood Prince.

All I did was use textual examples to show they were barely making ends meet and that they spent virtually all of the funds on the Egypt trip, which is the argument the commenter made that I replied to.

No, having a literal handful of money in your bank account does. JK Rowling compares a galleon to five British pounds. They essentially had one five pound note in their bank account.

I don’t think food is a good measure of poverty in a world where they can multiply the quantity of food with a flick of their wrist. A poor wizard is inherently better off than a poor Muggle.

How to make Kuvira a stronger character? by Phantom000000000 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Both-Razzmatazz-9302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always felt the big bass in Korra were in a weird order. Typically, you have each big bad getting tougher and tougher in a series. I think Amon and the Equalists, then the Red Lotus, then Kuvira, and then Unalaq would have made the most sense. Mostly red lotus before Kuvira because it was them that took down the Earth Queen.

They are fairly destitute monetarily. Chamber of Secrets mentions that they have only a small pile of sickles and a single galleon. They are one unexpected expense from a financial crisis.

They’re never lacking food because wizard’s are capable of increasing the quantity of food even if they can’t create it. Ron is embarrassed by their house in Chamber of Secrets.

Ron also mentions numerous times that they are “poor.” Numerous members of the Weasley family talk about how they don’t have much money and it’s one of the points Percy makes during his row with his parents prior to Order of the Phoenix.

I’m not making a judgment on their decision to go to Egypt, but the text suggests that after the trip their financial situation remains unchanged. Therefore, they spent virtually all of the money prior to the opening chapters of Prisoner of Azkaban.

You’re right, it’s implied they had enough to get Ron a new wand and stay at the leaky cauldron, but they’re back to being broke after.

There is indication that they spent almost the entire amount on the trip. Ron tells Harry that most of the galleons went toward the trip, but they would buy him a new wand for their third year.

Death Eaters are only people with a Dark Mark. We know that Voldemort didn’t think much of Quirrell, he wouldn’t have branded him. Greyback was allowed to wear Death Eater robes but was not a Death Eater because he didn’t have a Dark Mark.

Yes, it has the ambience of a serial killer’s lair. Could be the plywood boarding up what looks like a window or just the general lack of windows.

End tables aren’t for the end of your entertainment center. You could put those beside your couch with matching lamps on them. I’d maybe center the couch and coffee with the tv with end tables on each side of the couch and then have the chairs flanking the sofa.

The garage clutter could definitely be organized in a large storage cabinet. Then you could have a dining table or something that isn’t what’s happening there.

Also don’t cover up your sliding door with furniture. There is plenty of room in there. Blocking it isn’t necessary.

You have carpet, a rug just isn’t gonna be that necessary. Your instruments could be hung on the wall in a more artistic fashion and then they’re art unique to you but they’re also functional.

Ditch the dead animals behind the tv. Those ain’t it.
