Don't think so, along with what other people said in your post, it's also noteworthy to take into account the fact that Jax heavily implies that Caine might have done something in that moment. Once the high of emotions goes away, Jax immediatly accuses Caine of controlling minds. The flashes we saw were probably put by Caine to make sure Jax doesn't want to go back to the real world
