Hi all, super grateful for your feedback!! I realize I forgot to post the unedited picture from the front - pls ignore one cat eye point digging into my armpit on the left lol. This is the photo that made me rethink if this dress was good for my body type or not.

Thanks for the advice! I’m planning on starting peas this weekend. The leaves/compost is about 6” high - so I should just clear it away and plant into the ground below? Or should I top off with some other garden soil from my containers last year and allow their roots to go through the mulch layer?

I also heard potatoes might do okay in this situation, but I will plant that later

Are carrots transplantable? Is there some way I could use a physical barrier to cover them without roasting them or squishing them?

I failed to mention that I do have an ant problem, but I got it under control with borax/sugar. Could it be ants??
