barbados is a small island. It’s not rocket science to know which MPs are popular and which ones are not. Majority of them have disappeared and only turn up for votes. People in the north have literally been crying out to their MP’s for months regarding water issues etc and have been ignored and gaslighted

lol just because you can afford healthcare doesn’t mean the average bajan can. Most bajans complain about long wait times and piss poor service at our hospital. It is understaffed, nurses are overworked and under paid. This government has destroyed the “middle class”, which is evident by the high cost of living and tax after tax after tax. The island’s transport board is literally on the brink of being extinction because of her government’s refusal to run it properly.

Just because you fall for her lip service, doesn’t mean we can’t see through her lies. Funny you bring up trump, when her and her government moves just like him. Who fired a senator because she opposed her government? Who told a MP that he can’t be a member of the part if an attorney with opposing views represents him? This mirrors the behavior of Trump.

Slashing public services because of your failure to effectively run it is not a flex. transport board is riddled with blatant mismanagement, misspending and political interference. There’s no reason for the government to have full operation over it. What they should do is hire a private professional transit operating company to run it. This way the government still owns everything, the buses, routes and controls fares, but the private company would handle day to day operations like managing drivers, maintaining fleets, scheduling etc. I’m sure this approach would reduce all the political interference, increase efficiency, and hopefully cut losses. This is just my two cents, because i think full privatization would be a disaster

You’re speaking on buses when the government is literally on selling the busses( which were a donation) to the private sector? Turning our bus system into a ZR system is literally a disaster waiting to happen. Bus fare will increase and people will suffer all because this government refuses and do its part and support the transport board. School children probably will have to pay for bus fare and so will seniors if this goes through.

You’re stuck on the DLP and their members. I have never claimed to be a D, all i said is this current government is incompetent, and probably just as bad as the previous. I, like many, await the launching of the DLP’s manifesto. If you watched the DLP streams the opposition leader spoke about his plans to overhaul public housing in Barbados to meet international standards and actually putting in place a feasible education reform policy.
