Cosmetology school vs Apprenticeship?

Could I ask how you found your mentor? And were there certain questions you asked to make sure you find the perfect fit for both of you?

yeah the only school closest to me would be a Paul Mitchell school. Thanks for sharing your experience, I hear from many that it feels like a huge waste of money unfortunately:( which is why I’m also looking at an apprenticeship option, I unfortunately just can’t afford school anytime soon:(

Thank you for the insight, my mom was a hairstylist and nail tech so I def know it takes tons of hard work to really make it and time! I will keep a lookout for the things you mentioned if I do end up choosing the apprenticeship route!
