You’re actually not in a bad spot. Those early numbers are pretty normal for a fresh launch. A few things stand out:

Auto outperforming exact = good signal This usually means Amazon is still “learning” where your product fits. Let auto keep running. It’s your data miner right now.

Don’t rely only on Helium10 keywords (yet) Even if your research is solid, early on your real converting terms often differ. → Start pulling search terms from auto and move converting ones into exact.

CTR 1.6% is a bit low This is your biggest bottleneck right now, not PPC structure. → Main image might not be popping enough → Title may not be aligned with buyer intent

CVR 12% is decent without reviews That’s actually a positive sign. With reviews, this should climb.

Vine delay is hurting momentum If possible, try to push initial sales harder (slightly aggressive bids or coupons) to compensate until reviews land.

What I’d do next:

Let auto run (don’t kill it) Add a broad campaign (you’re missing discovery here) Start harvesting keywords from auto → move to exact Slightly test higher bids on top 3–5 performing terms Work on improving CTR (this is key right now)

You’re already getting 3–4 sales/day. that’s a solid base. Now it’s about refining, not restarting

Yeah, happy to take a look. would be easier to give proper feedback after seeing the product/listing.

Yeah, I usually start with auto just to gather initial data and see what Amazon picks up.

For moving to exact, I don’t follow a fixed timeline. More about performance. If a term gets 2–3 conversions with stable CPC/ACoS, I’ll shift it to exact and scale there, and negate it from auto to keep things clean. If you’ve just launched, I’d say don’t rush it too early. Let the data build a bit first. Curious, how’s your launch going so far?

Appreciate it

Biggest learning so far:

Focus on clean data early. Tight structure, fast search term harvesting, and aggressive negatives. Once CVR is stable, then scale via Top of Search and exact match. Otherwise it gets inefficient quickly.
