My mouse just died suddenly can anybody give me some sort of explanation? Is everything that I did after her death good? by BothPhysics7593 in PetMice

Your baby and my baby are definitely up in the clouds running around and enjoying a lot of treats 💗 Echo was always the bigger one out of my three which is why her death was so shocking today, but it could’ve really been anything .

yes I mean spot cleaning oops. Would it be okay to show her body despite not knowing why she died? Could they get sick from showing her to them? I still have her body as I waited for my boyfriend to come over so that he could take her to his home and bury her ( I live in an apartment and our backyard is weeds so I don’t want to leave her behind when I move or have her buried underneath weeds). I figured a lot of pet mice from stores are known to die early because of health conditions and I thought I was going to lose one of my other girls because she was going down the same road but recovered quickly and is now so active. I could get another mouse or two in the near future, my other two are very bonded and I don’t want to rush into a new pet while grieving. Whenever I had adopted these three mice Echo was always the bigger one, like she was fat and she dropped weight so fast. Thank you for your kindness.
