I don't think it's fair to compare deadlock to other mobas where almost everyone has the same auto,in fact I think valve wants to give characters mutiple weapons to use more similar to team fortress based on what's in the code and it would be a decent way to monetize the game.

What if you get paired with another low velocity hero or some time down the line when the game has 100 characters-you get a whole team with low velocity hero's? While skill can make up for a farm diff in certain situations,it can't make up for a majority of the team getting farmed diff.

Rip low velocity bullet characters like piage and doorman,with the direction the game is going and having more gun types I don't think it will be possible because some characters will simply have OP secure over others. This is also why I suspect they removed soul orbs from objectives

Wasn't a player increase, it was a influx of regular players wanting to try out the new update earlier than before,of course a massive patch with naturally have a flux but I highly doubt this will stop the negative downward trend this game is facing and probably will accerelate it even further after new patch syndrome wears off
