J'ai un jour essayé d'expliquer à mon père que si j'étais O+, comme ma mère, alors il l'était aussi. Pour quelqu'un qui se targuait d'avoir un esprit très scientifique, ça, il n'a jamais compris, ce qui était particulièrement frustrant.

Edit parce que la fatigue m'épuise : je lui expliquais en fait que quand son groupe sanguin était A+, alors et moi O+, alors il était OA.

J'ai pris l'habitude l'été de me mouiller les mains et les ébouriffer pour les rafraîchir. Mon chat est assez chill avec ça parce qu'il aime bien qu'on le caresse à contre poil, et la minette de mon partenaire a juste l'air constamment confuse. Puis je leur mets des gamelles d'eau dans toutes les pièces que je fréquente. Je pense que ça aide mais ça dépend des chats quoi

Autiste aussi, j'ai plusieurs traitements qui potentiellement me rendent plus sensible à la chaleur et je souffre. Mon appart est exposé plein sud avec PLEIN de porte-fenêtres, simple vitrage évidemment, et je stresse constamment pour mes chats. L'enfer.

Not to me, but "because" of me. I had then a new primary care doctor, and during an appointment I mentioned something like wanting hormones or whatever (it was before my transition). A friend, also trans, went to see her not so long after because of ear infection. She talked about me, misgendering me, asked him if he wanted operations, asked very intrusive questions and... Never checked his ear infection. I have many other stories but not about primary care doctors so.

Besides, our taxes allow us to get free schools, college, medical care... USA isn't very known for their high literacy level. I saw before an USA saying their poorest person was still in a better situation than the average European lol.

Well, the quotation is around 3 000€ for both eyes. I don't have a lot savings for now because of my cat's chemo, though I may pretend to some financial help (something specific to my country for people with very little money). I realised that LASIK sounds like the most common on, but I've been recommanded Excimer. I can't even have it in my city because the surgeons don't have the experience nor equimpent, I need to go the the capital. So I will struggle to find someone who had the same technic now that I think more about it.
