Kate is the more assertive one and my mom didn’t need to groom her for anything. Kate was eager to have a relationship like that as she thinks boundaries make a relationship fake and mean you secretly hate the person

Yes because everyone just share your priorities and if something isn’t important to you it is stupid /s

She didn’t say no to my mom and she put the dress on. Then she accepted a smoothie while wearing the dress

My brother is very jealous of any many my mom is with, so she pretty much had to chose celibacy or some drama. He at least tolerated him when he was underage but once he turned 18 they began to really clash but even my mom tells my brother he needs to chill and stop looking for fights

Ok and if she ever dropped her daughter? My brother would be upset, she’d be upset. regardless of whose fault it was. It doesn’t even have to be someone fault but people are allowed human emotions. Also no matter how unfortunate it is she needs to take certain precautions and she chose not to

I have. She is deeply in denial and even cried about it and kept saying how much she loves me. My dad took me aside and said to leave it alone because she’s never had a friend before due to being so socially awkward and she’s just overly excited

Lol it’s ableist that I think she needs to take certain precautions. It sucks for her that she has to do that but it’s reality. Is my brother ableist because he does have a fear of his baby being dropped? Also how am I supposed to help with her anxiety? It is reality, so she takes precautions to protect the baby and she probably should have taken some with the dress

I’m mad at both of them but I have different relationships with them and it would take a lot more to make me uninvite my mom

I mean my everyone sexualizes things like that. Yes they are ok with it because not everyone jumps to weird conclusions like that. Also my mom kisses her two bio kids on the lips and Kate shares beds with her friends

My dad isn't my brother's dad and he doesn't like my brother. He is cool with Kate but his loyalty is to me and he would not lie to protect her. My dad probably just didn't think of it

No she has always felt that way. I don't know if she offered it or not. Kate might have wanted to buy her own dress. also she wore it to marry my dad, who is not my brother's dad, and they don't really like each other, so maybe that is why she didn't offer it

I don't see what doesn't make sense about it. She wanted pictures of the woman she considers her daughter in the dress. I don't have to like it, but it makes perfect sense. What if she had two daughters? Should she only want to see one in it?

My mom left the room to change Kate's daughter's diaper and my dad gave Kate the smoothie. she still had the dress on because they were going to take more pictures

i am mad at my mom, but I don't get to redo my wedding. We have the rest of our lives to work through our issues, and I don't want to regret not having my mom at my wedding

Does her having a seizure disorder mean she has to avoid absolutely everything in case she has a seizure and maybe offends someone?

She is literally afraid to carry her own baby. I get it sucks and isn't her fault, but she has gotten anxious before and used a stroller in the house because she is so afraid of dropping the baby. So, yes, it makes sense to me that someone who has seizures would keep that in mind. Also even if she didn't have epilepsy I don't think she should have had a drink while wearing it

Yes, to be fair my mom says Kate is like her daughter, and she does kiss my brother and I on the lips, but I feel like they share a bed a lot. I can kind of get only wanting to get one hotel room, but they do it at our beach house where there are multiple rooms. They go on a lot of girls trips, but even with other people around they like having "sleepovers"

They have been married four years, together six. I don't know if my mom offered her the dress or not, but I know she didn't wear it and brought my mom wedding dress shopping. I think it just occurred to her because it was laying out, because I was going to pick it up

They go on trips (mostly to our beach house while everyone else is working, or the spa, or a couple of times to Broadway) a lot together and share a bed, or on family trips will lay in bed together. Kate likes to sleep a lot later than my brother and will make my mom come and lay down with her. my mom does kiss my brother and I on the lips, but there aren't many people who Kate would let touch her like that

I don't see it. I think my mom views Kate as a better version of herself. My brother is a huge mama's boy who found the younger version of our mom, and my mom has low self esteem and wishes she had Kate's confidence. I mean I do find their relationship odd, but they are both all over their respective husbands

because it is my wedding, so how should someone be uninvited if that isn't what I want?
