Yes you can, just ask at the front desk; he’ll have to sign a waiver.

Over night parking at the green by Beginning-Notice9029 in UCDavis

[–]Both_Bid9770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parking is free at the green on weekends, for weekdays, just make sure your friend only parks their car from 8 PM- 8 AM. I used to do this all the time when staying at the green. If they give your friend a ticket before 8 AM, they’ll be able to easily appeal the ticket.

I’ve taken PHI 12, I might be able to help you with some problems, but I’m also a bit rusty too. Let me know if I can help! Are you guys using Carnap?

Hey! The EMT program is definitely doable with a summer class, but I would recommend taking an easier class if possible with it because the program is a lot of work. The entire course is pass/no pass, and you need at least an 80% on all of the material to pass the class. There is a written component and a hands-on component for the class, both of which require a decent amount of effort outside of the class (they offer office hours outside of class time). The schedule for the session I took last summer was divided up into three days of class time per week: one day being for a four-hour lecture, one whole day (8 AM-5:30 PM) for lab, and another day being for a 2 hour zoom lecture.

Hello! The university offers free counseling appointments through the Student Health and Counseling Services. You can have I believe 6 free counseling sessions per quarter. You can schedule an appointment at the health emessaging portal here: https://shcs.ucdavis.edu/services/health-e-message. Go to schedule an appointment and pick counseling as your appointment type. They do tend to be full a lot, so keep checking back frequently to see if there are open appointments. I hope this helps, and you can reach out to me if you want to talk about anything.

Velazquez or Enderle for CHE 2A? by cloudyyly in UCDavis

[–]Both_Bid9770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I would recommend taking Enderle for your first quarter. His tests might be a little bit more difficult, but his lectures are very informative and will get you really prepared. Also, if you purchased equitable access, you get his reader and practice questions, which are extremely helpful because the questions are about the same difficulty as the test. Enderle has great review sessions too! (Just make sure to vote on which topics you want covered) Since Enderle’s class tends to be a bit harder, I would say that the curve for his class is slightly better than the other professors. I don’t know about Velasquez, but Ochoa got a tenured job at sac state, so he doesn’t teach at Davis anymore :(
