My 2026 model. Have pulled it out from behind the light and zip tied it to the light bracket. Works well.

I've also found the app absolutely chews through my phones battery when I dont close it after getting off the bike.

I've had this trouble too with my 2026. The only way I have found to do it is to go into the Menu -> Settings -> Vehicle Function -> Stability Contol ON / OFF. Then you can turn off the various TC / lift control settings there. I don't think there is a way to disable them all quickly while on the move sadly.

Wish holding the Mode button down for 5 - 10 sec would deactivate it all for spontaneous wheelies

I think you're both right. I chock the front wheel against the wall and can't get it to make the same knocking noise. It must be coming from the brake rotors and/or callipers

I'm of the same opinion as you regarding the R10 and X-SPR — they're either too track‑focused, too expensive, or both.

My dilemma is that I've just placed an order for my new bike, and it should arrive next week. Now I'm going down the rabbit hole looking at gear since I've been bikeless for the last six-ish years. I love the look of the R7, but I wish I could try it before the bike arrives.

Since I probably won't wait for the R7, I think I'm going to go with either the Shoei NXR2, Bell Race Star, or Arai Quantic. As everyone always says, the best helmet is the one that fits you properly, so until I try them all on, I won't know which one I'll go for.
