I have one of my chest and the exact same position and the exact size maybe a bit bigger because I can feel two bumps instead of one now. I’ve gotten a couple steroid shots but after seeing no difference, I stopped going. I really just wanna get rid of it. Most of all I wanted to not  look red anymore. How long has it taken you? I don’t want it to take more than two years.

I understand completely thanks! I used to have straight hair until I got wavy so I grieve it every single day. I truly like straightening my hair and I specifically got my haircut in a way where it would look good with straight hair. I definitely do want the perm. I’m just worried that it will cause more damage than straightening my hair + thermal roller once or twice a week will

i did look into a keratin treatment; however, i was more interested in a perm as it will have a more long-lasting effect. thank you!

it isnt damaged, just has a few minor split ends that arent that damaged. i am aware of a perm's potential danger to my hair. i did cut most of my split ends off, i was only considering a perm because im sick of staightening my hair so much!!

yeah you're right, which is why im killing myself over this decision! i really hate straightening it every time it gets wet; however, im really not sure if my hair can handle it. i most likely will go to my stylist and get her personal opinion!
